Snow tubing at the winter time
The snow tube is located just below the Puijo tower, it is 8 euros for students. We rode down the snowy slopes in our giant floats thanks to a rocker system that allows the float to be thrown. It was really fun! You just put your thumb up and nod and the person in the cabin activates the system and off you go. You go down the slope at full speed with your friends like a bobsleigh and you have to go back up the slope thanks to a conveyor belt, again and again. Laughter guaranteed! An activity to be shared with friends, preferably of different nationalities for even more fun and sharing.We had a good laugh: two Dutch, one Austrian, two German and three French you get the perfect recipe! And just after the effort, I advise you to share a hot drink around a table with your friends in the tower with the incredible view on the whole city of Kuopio!

You can rent skis at the Rauhalahti Hotel for 10 euros a day. And now you can ski on the lake with your friends! It's even more fun if you've never done cross-country skiing before. Stunts and laughter guaranteed! We skied all afternoon with my friends of different nationalities and a Finnish friend who taught us the different techniques. What bad pupils we are! We are passed again and again but nothing can stop us because we ski in an ideal environment and in a good mood.
You can also take the opportunity to buy nice kuopio cards at the hotel and send them to your relatives or eat on the spot when we returned to the hotel it smelled very very good.
You can also buy cross-country skis for 20 euros in second hand stores. It is what my roommates have opted.

Barbecue on the snow with friends
What could be better than sharing a barbecue with friends? No, you are not dreaming! Pinja, our Finnish friend has just lit the barbecue on the snow. We cut wood and waited for a long time that our sausages and appetizers of any kind cook. The highlight of the show, we made pancakes! Not so bad with jam with red fruits... It was very cool and the sight is incredibly beautiful on the city of Kuopio.
