Savonia is one of the most important university of applied sciences in Finland. The campus is very modern. Classrooms are well-lit with integrated outlets in the desks. There are also swing chairs and interactive massage chairs. The campus is very well equipped.

You can find a huge library in the university named « Opus » and borrowed your finnish book or management books or other kinds of book for your studies. Thanks to several laptops and scanners, you can automatically register your book loan and you can return your book at any time by dropping it in a connected shelf wich automatically delivers you a receipt for the returned book.

In this library, you can use the printer if you need it from the school computers. You have to use your card to unlock the printer and sometimes the printer asks you to confirm your login and password that you use on all the university platforms like on Moodle.
The international office members will currently answer your questions as soon as possible. They are very pleasant. They helped us as much as possible with courses overlapping and the several papers for our erasmus grant.
The savonia university has put in place many things to help its international students. We were very well received in this university and this country.
First of all, the university proposed us our location with all of international students available on the kuopias website, moreover thanks to students charities, they deliver directly to your appartement a survival kit for only 30 euros with all the kitchen tools and also a matress, a bed cover, apillow and bedlinen. It is very pleasant when you arrive to already find your survival kit and to be able to cook. The school also assigns you a student tutor to ask at all your questions like for example : How can you do the distance between the airport and your appartement ? Where can you buy your bus card ? Who call if you have problem with your wi-fi connexion ? What is the website to be registered for sports activities or for travels ? When to make an appointment with your student tutor to pick up your apartment keys if the real estate agency is closed when you arrive?
