During the erasmus we went to visit Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. This capital which looks a bit like Carcassonne in France by its mediaeval atmosphere, surprised me pleasantly. We left Helsinki by ferry. The trip by boat lasted about 2 hours. When we went to the restaurant to celebrate Justine's birthday, we tasted some Estonian specialties.
The city is very nice, it was less cold than in Finland, with more sunshine. On the other hand, we felt a mourning atmosphere with a lot of homage to the war in Ukraine. The country is very affected by the situation, it also has a border with Russia as well as Finland.
The Estonians are in general, like the Finns, very close to nature. Estonia is also very evolved in technology. It is a very innovative country.
