In Kuopio, there is a sports association for students. The name of the association is Sykettä and it offers students the opportunity to take part in sports courses. Every week there are activities such as sports and dance classes, and there are also open fields where you can practice any sport you want.
For a full semester, you can pay 17€ or 35€. The 17€ subscription allows you to use the courts and attend certain classes. The 35€ subscription allows you to access all the classes, including those organized by partner clubs.
To register for a class, you can visit https://xn--sykett-gua.fi/kuopio/fi/ or the mobile application. It is possible to register one week in advance and if you change your mind, you are asked to cancel at least two hours before. If you do not attend a session you have registered for twice, you cannot register for another week. If you want to take a class again, you must pay 4€.
