During our trip to Lapland, I was lucky enough to be able to do the "Arctic Ocean Tour" in Norway. It took place for one day. It was a memorable day, forever engraved in my mind.

We got up very early, at 7:00 am and we left by bus. We passed some wonderful landscapes. Honestly, these landscapes will always be engraved in my head, it was like in a movie! We could see a lot of mountains (unlike in Finland), a lot of lakes and snowy rivers. All this white around us was so soothing... Then there was a blue sky which made the landscapes stand out even more. We made several stops to take pictures.

First stop in Norway

We made a first stop after 4 hours of driving in a typical sauna in the fjords. It was very cold outside and the wind was hitting our faces. What did we do? We went to the sauna all together, waited to get warm and then went for a swim in the sea. That day the sea was 0 degrees. Of course, as soon as we got into the water, we were already out again. But I managed to bathe in full! It's a great memory; I loved it and I'm proud to have done it! We all doubted we could do it, but we had to! It's a fantastic memory to tell!

Then we got back on the bus and the scenery became more and more beautiful. We had typical music in our ears during these few kilometres. And again, it was great! I was like in a movie. We saw reindeer running free! INCREDIBLE! We stopped in the picturesque village of Bugoynes. We were awaited like kings at the Bistroen restaurant. We ate a traditional Norwegian fish soup, very good! We met some locals, who told us about the history of their villages, the customs of the country, etc... Then we had some free time where we walked through the "streets" and the beach of this village. I even brought back some shells 😉!

On the way back we visited the biggest souvenir shop in Lapland in Inari where we bought many traditional items.

By 9pm we were back at the cabin with stars in our eyes and very tired! I recommend this day 100%.
